About Industry Beans

Launched in 2013, Industry Beans is an award-winning specialty coffee roaster, café operator, wholesale and retail brand. From grassroots beginnings, Industry Beans has grown into a refined coffee brand operating across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane through hospitality, wholesale and direct to consumer channels.

The Industry Beans Group also operates three additional brands in the coffee industry, some established and some new. It's an exciting time to join the team with a wide variety of products and channels to market to succeed in.

About the Role

This role leads the planning, execution, and performance of marketing activity across the Industry Beans Group. Reporting to the Marketing Director and overseeing an experienced and specialised marketing team, the role offers scope across strategic, campaign and day-to-day work, driving results across multiple brands and channels. It's a role that doesn't require you to do it all, but does require you to be across it all.

The right person for this role will be a confident and capable marketing leader: a skilled generalist who thrives managing specialists across content, design and digital marketing. They will be responsible for ensuring structure and clarity to marketing workflow, accountability to performance, and creativity to brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for marketing planning and performance across multiple brands and channels
  • Lead and support a small team of marketing specialists
  • Manage workflow, priorities and resourcing across brands and channels
  • Plan and execute quarterly and annual marketing budgets and activity calendars
  • Develop and execute omnichannel campaigns that deliver measurable business results
  • Manage channel-specific marketing activity for venues, wholesale and grocery
  • Oversee brand positioning and messaging across all channels and customer touchpoints
  • Oversee content creation, seasonal storytelling and photography/videography production
  • Collaborate with the eCommerce team to align digital marketing activity
  • Support brand growth partnership through partnership marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain a data-led approach to marketing performance and reporting

About You

  • 3+ years experience in marketing management or leadership roles
  • Confident leading a small, multi-skilled team
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • A passion for great coffee, brand and storytelling
  • Diploma or Degree in marketing or business
  • Excellent attention to detail
