Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards

  • Work with management on specials, cost control, and stock ordering

Skills & Requirements

  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a team of kitchen staff.

  • Work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to innovate and elevate the venue's food offering.

  • Be a visible leader, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the team during key services.

  • Relevant chef qualification or proven experience in commercial kitchens

  • Passion for Mediterranean/Lebanese food (or willingness to learn)

  • Knowledge of food safety standards (NSW Food Authority)

  • First AID

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an cook or chef

  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to control food and wage costs.

  • Demonstrated leadership in building a high-performance and fostering a positive, professional kitchen culture.

  • Impeccable standards in food hygiene and WHS compliance.

  • Ability to think on your feet, problem-solve, and deliver consistent quality in a fast-paced environment.

  • A natural collaborator who can work closely with FOH leadership to create seamless guest experiences.

  • A flair for creativity and the courage to bring new ideas to the table.

Above all, you are a hands-on, operational leader who leads from the front.
