small 70 seater with a strong takeaway trade looking for a strong chef with strong Italian restaurant experience

The HEAD CHEFS responsibilities include working with the owner to menu design and create concept, run kitchen system & procedures organising staff training and ensuring that the restaurant kitchen is clean and well-presented at all times, the kitchen maintains quality and budget and consistency of product.

To be successful you should demonstrate exemplary management and leadership skills as well as amazing cooking and plating ability and ultimately, should be able to achieve excellent customer service by working closing with the restaurant manager and owner.

HEAD CHEFS Responsibilities:

* Supervising allKitchen staff.

* Preparing weekly work schedules for staff and finding suitable replacements in cases of staff absence.

* Ensuring that all food expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease operational costs.

* Receiving deliveries and supplies and verifying that the correct items and quantities have been delivered.

* Taking inventory of café supplies and ordering new stock as needed.

* Resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and customer service.

* Suggesting new menu items based on customers' preferences and feedback.

* Identifying strategies to retain and attract customers.

HEAD CHEFS Requirements:

* Proven management of a kitchen team and experience in menu design, specials and reaching targets and KPI's weekly

* Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.

* Strong business acumen.

* Exemplary management skills.

* Excellent organizational and time management skills.

* Effective communication skills.

* Exceptional customer service skills.

Must be available to work weekends

Role could be a 5 or 6 days, and Numeration would be paid accordingly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,364.05 – $85,000.00 per year
