Position: Head Chef (Full-Time)

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Head Chef who is committed to culinary excellence and leading with creativity. This role calls for a culinary professional dedicated to delivering exceptional fine-dining experiences, showcasing innovative menus, and setting the highest standards of quality and presentation. As Head Chef, you will inspire and mentor a talented team, driving consistency, excellence, and innovation at every service.

Main Tasks:

  • Plan menu, estimate food and labour costs
  • Achieve food budget cost controls, ensuring minimum wastage within the unit.
  • Actively participate in the ongoing management and development of all menus and costs.
  • Monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas and during all stages of production and supply.
  • Ensure quality control measures and hygiene systems are achieved at all times.
  • Have total accountability for the day to day running of the kitchen service.
  • Purchase all food and food related products using approved suppliers.
  • Manage stock rotation and use by dates for the production of food are followed.
  • Understand and have working knowledge of all current health and safety and food hygiene requirements and ensure total compliance.
  • Select and train staff, and demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on cooking procedures
  • Prepare and cook food, and discuss food preparation issues with manager and executive chef
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness, safety, and functionality

Responsibilities:

  • Follow and complete all tasks required for the role effectively and efficiently, ensuring a positive environment and workflow

About you:

  • Relevant Qualification
  • Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate
  • Proven Head Chef or Senior Sous experience in high-volume venues
