[ MITTO in The Rocks, Sydney ] - Head Chef

MITTO located in Sydney's iconic place, is growing and opening a new restaurant, and we are seeking for a passionate, energetic, and creative Head Chef to lead our Japanese kitchen.

You will be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen and provide professional and direction to kitchen personnel where required. You'll play a key role in ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to our standards, while also maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised workplace.

What you will need:

  • Great communication skills and an ability to work well as part of the team.
  • At least 1 years Head Chef experience at the Dining restaurant.
  • At least 3 years Japanese Restaurant Chef role.
  • At least 1 years Izakaya Chef experience highly regarded.
  • At least 2 year of Fish Cutting and Handling experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mon-Sun, 38 hours shift work.
  • You must have a valid work visa.
