About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team at Kelso Building Trade Centre P/L in Greystanes, NSW. This full-time position will involve assisting our customers with all their building and trade supply needs, providing exceptional service and expert product knowledge.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and welcoming customers, providing friendly and helpful service
  2. Assisting customers in finding the right products and solutions for their projects
  3. Providing product demonstrations and recommendations to customers
  4. Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked sales floor
  5. Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  6. Answering customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person
  7. Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks as needed
  8. Continuously expanding your product knowledge to provide the best possible advice

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the building or trade industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service
  3. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to finding solutions for customers
  4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently
  5. Attention to detail and a keen eye for organisation
  6. Enthusiasm for learning about new products and technologies in the building and trade sector
  7. We are looking for anyone that is willing to learn.
