Part-Time Sales Assistant (Contractor) – Remote (Smithfield, NSW)

Hourly Rate: $30 per hour

Hours: 5 hours per week, May need more depending on business needs. We require someone that can work daily, morning and afternoon- with hours split between the days

Location: Work from home

Our Dance Studio, located in NSW, AUS, is a vibrant, inclusive space dedicated to helping people express themselves, stay fit, and build confidence through dance and fitness. We offer a range of classes and workshops designed for all skill levels, and we pride ourselves on fostering a welcoming and supportive community.

We are seeking a passionate and outgoing Sales Assistant to join our team on a part-time contractor basis. If you love dance, enjoy connecting with people, and have a knack for sales, this role is perfect for you

This job would be suited to someone who doesn't require micro management and can handle their weekly tasks themselves. An added bonus if you are proactive, think outside of the box and have a strong focus on customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support:
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective and existing clients via phone & email.
  • Assist clients in selecting classes, memberships, and workshops that align with their interests and goals.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Sales Activities:
  • Proactively follow up with leads to encourage class enrollments, workshop sign-ups, and membership sales.
  • Promote studio offerings, including private lessons, merchandise, and special events.
  • Meet sales targets and track progress using provided tools.
  • Studio Support:
  • Collaborate with the team to implement marketing promotions and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate client records and report sales activities.
  • Act as an ambassador for the studio, embodying its values and fostering a sense of community.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 2–3 years of prior sales experience (required).
  • Knowledge of the dance or fitness industry is a plus but not required.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate about dance or fitness.
  • Self-motivated and results driven.
  • A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong focus on providing outstanding customer service.

What We Offer:

  • Flexible work-from-home position with part-time hours (5 hours per week).
