Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and professional Sales Assistant
to join our team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring outstanding service while driving sales. You will handle incoming calls, emails, walk-in customers, and outbound sales activities to maximise customer satisfaction and contribute to overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement
    : Provide excellent service to walk-in customers, answering inquiries and assisting with product selection to drive sales.
  • Sales Support
    : Respond to inbound calls and emails, addressing customer concerns and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Outbound Sales
    : Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and promote additional products.
  • CRM Management
    : Use CRM software to track interactions, manage leads, and maintain accurate customer and sales records.
  • Problem-Solving
    : Identify customer issues and offer effective solutions while maintaining a professional, positive attitude.
  • Team Collaboration
    : Work with the team to ensure a seamless customer experience and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience
    : Proven experience in sales or customer service, with a strong focus on achieving targets and customer satisfaction.
  • CRM Proficiency
    : Experience using CRM systems to manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Communication Skills
    : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and build rapport.
  • Interpersonal Skills
    : Strong ability to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
  • Attention to Detail
    : High level of organisation and detail orientation in customer interactions.
  • Team Player
    : Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Industry Knowledge
    : Experience in the paint or construction industry is an advantage, but not required.
  • Education
    : High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
