Home cooking company has an exciting opportunity to join our first ever retail store in Australia. This role will suit Sales Assistants with a passion for cooking and kitchen appliances.

Job Responsibilities

Ø  Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs and preferences.

Ø  Explain the features and benefits of our cooking products to customers to encourage informed purchasing decisions.

Ø  Actively promote our products and upsell complementary items to increase sales.

Ø  Ensure thorough knowledge of all our products available in the store, including new launches and product blockbusters.

Ø  Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Ø  Process sales orders accurately.

Ø  Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store and product displays.

Ø  Restock shelves and replenish inventory to ensure product availability and best placement.

Ø  Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and stock-takes.

Ø  Inform customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, and special offers.

Ø  Assist with receiving and unpacking new shipments of our products.

Ø  Merchandising of products according to company guidelines.

Ø  Handle customer returns, exchanges, and refunds in line with store policies.

Ø  Collaborate with team members and store management to achieve overall store goals.

Ø  Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to better advise customers.

Ø  Participate in training sessions to continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Skills and Experience

Ø  2 plus years retail experience

Ø  Good communication and selling skills

Ø  Passion for cooking highly desirable

Ø  Good learning agility to quickly comprehend a wide range of products along with their features and benefits, enabling effective communication with customers

Ø  Teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues

Ø  Time management and multitasking abilities to handle busy periods and competing priorities efficiently

Ø  Problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and operational issues quickly and effectively.

Ø  A positive, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude, essential for delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
