The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Operations Administrator focusing on record keeping and oversight of our WH&S management system and business reporting in a group of businesses with multiple sites across Australia and New Zealand.

About the role:

We are looking for someone who can work within a dynamic small team responsible for continual improvement of operations, WH&S management, inventory control and logistics.

You will be required to:

  • Provide advice and support managers and team members across the business relating to our WH&S management system, working with our business providers
  • Induct, train and develop employees in our WH&S management system
  • Maintain all our required WH&S management system documentation
  • Deliver WHS projects and outcomes, including developing SWMS and SWP, site audits and risk assessments, WHS training.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly business reports for all businesses in the group and supply to managers
  • Work with the inventory control team to do stock takes and cycle counts
  • Administration support for the senior operations team members

Skills & Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety (or similar) highly regarded
  • Experience working within an operations team
  • Initiative and self-starting
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and a drive to build strong relationships with a range of team members
  • An empathetic communication style
  • There may be some interstate travel from time to time to assist in Stoke Takes
