Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive individual to join our team as a full-time Human Resources Officer / Daily Organiser, working from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources

  • Lead the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the College culture
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HR-related inquiries.
  • Responding to office and recruitment phone enquiries
  • HR administration including preparation of employment contracts, letters and managing HR related spreadsheets
  • Maintain up-to-date HR databases
  • Contribute to improving HR systems, workflows, and communication channels
  • Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with organisational values
  • Support wellbeing and engagement events for staff
  • Participate in other school events

Daily Organiser

  • Prepare and manage the daily staff coverage roster for absences, yard duties, and excursions
  • Coordinate relief teachers and allocate classes as required
  • Liaise with team leaders and department heads to ensure coverage aligns with operational needs
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping of staff absences, timesheets, and duty adjustments
  • Communicate daily staffing updates to leadership and relevant departments
  • Ensure special events, assemblies, and assessments are integrated smoothly into the schedule

Requirements:

  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Experience with Windows software, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when dealing with staff matters
  • Experience with Synergetic/Seqta software is an advantage
