**People Business Support Trainee**

**Position Objective**:

- To support the People & Partnerships Team with the delivery of effective and efficient administrative systems, procedures and processes
- Provide input into the research, development and implementation of HR projects, policies and established business objectives
- Actively support the community’s vision, mission and values
- To contribute to the success of the Department through active teamwork and effective performance of the responsibilities and duties

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Provide effective and efficient administrative and functional support to the People & Partnerships team
- Undertake a range of operational, research and administrative tasks
- Liaise with a range of internal and external customers including the provision of general correspondence
- Provide administrative support to other units within the Department on occasion

**About you**:

- Knowledge in the MS Office Suite
- Reliable, punctual and have a willingness to learn
- Written communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to contribute positively in a team environment
- Good communication, organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to plan and manage own time

**Requirements for the role**:

- Must be living in Wyndham
- Must be double vaccinated against COVID19 and able to provide proof of vaccination
- Current Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one if successful
- Undertake in a police check as part of the recruitment process
