About the role
The Senior Records Coordinator is responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, implementation, and administration of the Student Enrolment & Data Entry programs. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of student data and provides strategic support to the Head, School and Student Data Services.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
- Managing competing priorities and high volumes of work, exercising sound judgement to triage and respond to ad hoc requests, resolve complex data issues
- Developing and implementing communication strategies and stakeholder engagement plans Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to system enhancements to data entry, processing and reporting functions.
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of student results and credential release activities.
- Provide leadership in the planning and coordination of student entry and data entry programs.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A strong ability to manage and resolve issues in a high-volume, frontline environment while maintaining a strong customer service focus and meeting critical deadlines.
- Experience balancing operational demands with stakeholder needs, including responding to ad hoc requests and unforeseen issues in a time-sensitive setting.
- Coordinating the implementation of communication plans and resolving technical issues across key digital platforms such as Students Online and Schools Online.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders and leading direct reports.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NSW school system, including school operations, governance structures, and stakeholder responsibilities.
- Proven experience in maintaining and managing the accuracy and integrity of student data and records, including identifying and resolving data quality issues.
Essential Requirements:
- Working with children check clearance for paid employment (prior to commencement, not required at the application stage).
