The role

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing strategic advice and processes for managing records in line with the State Records Act 1998. You'll ensure the Bradfield Development Authority (BDA)'s electronic document and records management system (OBJECTIVE) supports long-term business objectives, providing expert advice and training to facilitate efficient and secure information management.

You'll manage efficient access, secure storage, and regulatory compliance, while minimizing data duplication and ensuring a single source of truth. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining and developing the BDA's records strategy, leading records projects, and facilitating compliance assessments.

What you will bring to the role

  • Objective EDRMS administration experience is highly preferred
  • Extensive experience working with Record Management Systems and experience applying NSW Government Records Management and Security of Information policies.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate and present solutions, ideas and recommendations
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of the NSW State Records Act 1998.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations.
  • Solid time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Resilience and a positive attitude to persevere through obstacles and maintain productivity during challenging times.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to contribute to group efforts and support colleagues in achieving objectives.
  • High level administrative skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and competing demands.
  • Capable of driving outcomes while effectively involving stakeholders throughout the process, fostering collaboration and buy-in.

What is an essential requirement:


• Record Management qualifications and/or equivalent, relevant industry experience.
