Position OverviewAs one of our Workshop Controllers, your day to day will have you allocating jobs to our technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and a high quality of work on our repairs. You will work with the technician's to trouble shoot problems and provide guidance and solutions on a variety of different mechanical issues that arise on a daily basis.
You will drive superior customer service and ensure customer satisfaction is at the core of everything you do all while ensuring you have a high functioning team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience within the automotive industry, particularly senior technicians or supervisors. Success Profile
- Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive
- Proven background in managing a team of Technicians
- Have an solid understanding of the workflow of a busy workshop
- Motivation and leadership skills to achieve results
- Have the ability to meet budgets and deadlines
- Ability to handle pressure and busy work environment
- Effective communication and organisational skills
- A broad range of mechanical/tyre knowledge across a range of vehicle brands and types
- Valid Australian drivers licence
