The Quality Controller / Road Tester needs to ensure all service and repairs have been carried out to the highest standard and needs to recognize any outstanding issues or concerns. Strong communication skills is essential for liaising and communicating with customers. Road testing and assisting the Workshop Controller and Service team is essential to enhance our customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities include :
- A qualified automotive technician
- Excellent communication skills working with technicians, service advisors and management
- Be able to display strong diagnostic skills and clear communication
- Deliver a high level of workmanship identifying faults, verifying completed work and ensuring compliance with the manufacturer guidelines.
- Carry out road tests, final inspections, diagnosing rework requirements and maintaining accurate records at all times.
- Ensure all vehicles leaving the workshop meet the highest standards of safety, performance and presentation.
