Ecommerce Consultant – Inbound & Outbound Sales

Ready to jump on a rocket ship? Ecommerce Equation is on the lookout for a talented and energetic Ecommerce Consultant (SDR) Inbound/Outbound to join our high-performing sales crew. If you're all about turning leads into wins and love a good challenge, this is the role for you
What you'll own
- Becoming a Lead-to-Appointment Rockstar: You'll be the person who consistently turns both inbound and outbound leads into qualified appointments for our sales closers. Your mission? To book those game-changing Ecommerce Equation strategy sessions.
- Mastering the Sales Pipeline: You'll be a pro at pipeline management, jumping on hot leads and reactivating older ones that need a little love.
- Keeping Our CRM in Tip-Top Shape: You'll maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Hubspot, our CRM system, tracking progress and outcomes like a boss.
- Engaging Inbound Leads: You'll manage and respond promptly to hot inbound leads who have proactively reached out to us. You'll get to have meaningful discovery conversations and qualify them to see if they're a great fit for us.
- Proactively Pursuing Outbound Leads: You'll be the one reaching out to warm or aged leads who have shown interest but haven't booked a call. This includes making calls, sending emails, and even SMS messages to build those relationships.
- Nailing Communication: You'll monitor our sales email, log all qualified leads in Hubspot, and ensure a smooth hand-off to the Closing team so no leads are lost. You'll also provide regular reports on our KPIs to help us all get better.
What you'll bring
- Sales Savvy: You have a proven ability to manage customer interactions, especially with ecommerce business owners, and you know how to convert inquiries into leads.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You're great at diagnosing business pain points and presenting Ecommerce Equation as the perfect solution. A solid grasp of fundamental maths and business skills is crucial here.
- A "Go-Getter" Attitude: You're proactive and have a results-driven mindset. You're also comfortable with a high volume of outbound calls.
- Customer-First Focus: You have a positive attitude and are committed to delivering exceptional service.
- Tech Prowess: You have previous experience with CRM software, preferably Hubspot, and you're comfortable with tools like Gmail and Slack.
- Organisational Superpowers: You're a multitasking whiz who can manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Great Communication: You have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ecommerce Interest: A basic understanding of ecommerce and technology trends is a plus.
