We are seeking a high-performing a Leading Hand/Site Supervisor to join our expanding network of teams. You will be involved in a hybrid management role between the office and sites managing trades, daily tasks, subcontractors, and client expectations, whilst under the guidance of the director.

Reporting to the Director, duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to:-

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of on-site WHS Requirements;
  • Help managing the day-to-day site activity in compliance with the programme and business systems;
  • Assist sub-contractors in their obligations to meet a high quality of workmanship;
  • Assist the PM/Director to manage all phases of the project from start to finish;
  • Supervise tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality work;
  • Maintain exceptional standards and client satisfaction throughout the projects;
  • Maintain overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance;
  • Monitor all environmental site-specific matters;
  • Ensure a workplace code compliant site;
  • Running projects day to day and liaising with the director for operational requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A 'can do' attitude and accountability;
  • 2+ years experience as a Leading Hand (or similar) working on construction projects;
  • Relevant professional qualifications; trade or tertiary (either TAFE or University Degree);
  • Solid understanding of WHS Procedures;
  • Driver's license and own transport to sites as required;
  • Strong written and computer skills;
  • Strong client representation skills (you will be operating in accordance with the highest professional standards);
  • Strong work ethic and focus with attention to detail;
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Must be able to work well in a team;
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Apps (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, etc);
  • Must have autonomy and competency to work diligently and with integrity as an individual;
  • Must be a team player who is willing to integrate into dynamic and energetic team culture along with being an experienced high performer.
