About Us:

Zonix Construction, a leader in the commercial construction industry, is looking for a motivated and experienced Site Supervisor. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations on the construction site to ensure projects run smoothly and are completed on time.
  • Manage a team of workers and subcontractors, ensuring work is done safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in enforcing safety protocols and maintaining compliance with safety standards on-site.
  • Aid the Project Manager with coordinating logistics for materials and labour to keep the project on track.
  • Take part in maintaining site cleanliness and organization while ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Monitor construction programs and assist in reporting key project updates to the Project Manager.
  • Attend regular site meetings and toolbox talks to stay engaged with site operations and safety compliance.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a labourer/tradesman within the commercial construction industry.
  • An understanding of construction processes, safety standards, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as a team.
  • A willingness to learn and take initiative to contribute to project success.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints (or the eagerness to learn).
  • Valid certifications (White Card only, at this stage).
  • A proactive, detail-oriented individual who can solve problems on the spot while maintaining project momentum.
