We're looking for an experienced and motivated Civil Leading Hand to take charge of day-to-day site operations, lead crews, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

About the Role: As a Civil Leading Hand, you will:

  • Supervise and coordinate on-site civil works (earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities)
  • Lead and motivate a team of operators, labourers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure all works comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met
  • Manage site resources, deliveries, plant, and equipment
  • Monitor work progress and report to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Civil Leading Hand or Senior Civil Labourer ready to step up
  • Solid understanding of civil construction practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Relevant tickets (e.g. excavator, roller, pipe laying) – desirable
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork
