We are looking for a motivated Leading Hand / Site Supervisor to join our growing team.


Role Overview

The Leading Hand / Site Supervisor will play a hands-on leadership role in managing residential renovation and extension projects. This role combines tool work with site supervision – ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager/Director in coordinating day-to-day site operations
  • Supervise and lead trades, subcontractors, and labourers on-site
  • Carry out carpentry and hands-on building work where required
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and WHS standards
  • Manage scheduling of trades and deliveries to meet project timelines
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure workmanship is to company standards
  • Liaise with clients, neighbours, suppliers, and consultants professionally
  • Report progress, issues, and variations to management in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite

Skills & Experience
  • Trade qualification in Carpentry (essential)
  • Proven experience as a Leading Hand / Site Supervisor in residential building
  • Strong knowledge of renovations and extensions (structural, finishes, detailing)
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • working Knowledge of Buildertrend, Procore or similar project management software (desirable)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
  • WHS White Card (mandatory)
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)
