We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand for a large High Rise Residential Developer Builder.

As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring that our high-rise projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will be the link between management and the crew, driving productivity while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the construction crew.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Assist in scheduling tasks and managing workflow on-site.
  • Mentor and train team members, promoting skill development and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to achieve project milestones.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leading hand or supervisory role within high-rise construction.
  • Trade background and Cert 3 in carpentry desirable
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Trades background desired
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., White Card, First Aid) are preferred.
