We are opening expressions of interest for the role of Drainage Supervisor / Leading Hand within our Civil Team. This role is critical in ensuring drainage and stormwater works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

You will:

  • Supervise and coordinate drainage crews on civil construction and earthworks projects.
  • Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure works are completed accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Manage plant, equipment, and materials effectively to meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
  • Mentor and support team members, promoting a positive and productive work culture.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Supervisor or Leading Hand in drainage.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and drainage systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and set out works.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Current driver's licence and White Card (essential).
  • Relevant tickets (e.g., Excavator, Confined Spaces, First Aid) highly regarded.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in Civil Construction (desirable).
