About the role

We are seeking an experienced Casual Medical Receptionist to join our growing team and support our day-to-day operations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greet patients on arrival
  • Answer phone & email enquiries
  • Schedule appointments
  • Invoicing & processing payments
  • Document management & data entry
  • General administrative & house-keeping duties
  • Triaging patient needs
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information at all times

Hours:

  • Weekly hours & shift start/finish times will vary to fill gaps in our roster & provide leave cover
  • Availability on Mondays & Fridays is essential
  • One weekend per month on a rotating roster (Saturday 8:15am to 1pm, Sunday 8:45am to 12:30pm)
  • There may be the opportunity for this to become a permanent part-time role for the right candidate

About you

  • Previous medical reception experience essential
  • Flexible, reliable & dedicated
  • Friendly, professional & caring manner
  • Strong attention to detail & ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to work well within a team
  • Proficient computer skills (experience with Best Practice would be advantageous)
