We are looking for a Japanese-speaking receptionist to join our team at Paramount Medical Clinic. We are a comfortable and modern private practice conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Our internationally experienced doctors, nurses and allied health professionals provide a range of comprehensive, personalized and friendly care to all patients, while catering to the needs of both local patients and international travellers and students. The clinic operates Monday to Friday – no weekends or after hours.

This position will report to the clinic director and will be responsible for receptionist duties, including, but not limited to:

  • Greeting clients
  • Responding to telephone calls and emails
  • Maintaining records, including checking accounts and recalls
  • Invoicing and insurance claims
  • Interpreting for Japanese-speaking patients

Successful applicants must have:

  • Relevant previous receptionist and/or customer service experience
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in speaking English and Japanese (including reading and writing)

Experience with Best Practice Management Software is desirable.

You will receive the necessary support from our friendly and welcoming team of receptionists, practice nurses and doctors.
