About the Company

WA Farm Direct is Australia's premier go to wholesaler for high quality fresh produce. We are a multi-generational company with the knowledge and experience gained over decades of business experience throughout Australia.

We are based in Canning Vale and provide our range of premium fruits to the local market throughout Australia and to selected export markets such as the Middle East and Asia.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is looking for an opportunity to learn sales. The right candidate will like working with people and be highly motivated.

You will join a great team with significant opportunities for development in the role.

The ideal candidate will be both a natural communicator and enjoy early starts at the Perth Markets, Canning Vale. 

The role is 6 days per week (Sunday to Friday), based in Canning Vale with a 3.00am start to approx 10.00am Monday to Friday and 4.00am to 9.00am on Sunday.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide assistance to the Senior Category Manager
  • Generating sales to market buyers
  • Writing up orders from customers and entering into computer system
  • Managing any issues that arise with customers
  • Receiving produce into computer system
  • Picking of orders and delivery

Skills & Experience Required

  • A strong work ethic, the ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Drivers licence required
  • Forklift Licence preferred
  • Good computer skills
  • Must be physically fit as the role includes manual labour
