House Coordinator/Manager

Aspire Homes Australia is an accredited agency with the Office of the Children's Guardian to deliver Residential Care in NSW.
To supervise, support and lead Team Leaders and their care teams to deliver therapeutically informed care to young people in alternative accommodation models and to meet their individually tailored needs.
Primary responsibilities:
The House Manager will oversee the safe and effective functioning of a group of residential homes, and will provide support, set standards and reinforce expectations of Team Leader roles.
House Managers are required to uphold and model the Aspire Homes values and Codes of Conduct and ensure compliance with the relevant NSW legislations that govern out-of-home care service delivery.
The House Manager will work in collaboration with the Operations Manager to implement and monitor the use of approved therapeutic supports in the home, and work toward agreed goals and outcomes for each child or young person.
The House Manager will support Team Leaders to schedule, action and review the daily requirements of each child and young person and work toward their permanency goals.
The House Manager will liaise with Senior Managers to oversee budgets and financial management for each house. They will reinforce administrative requirements for all petty cash and day to day expenditure.
The House Manager will be the first point of call support for Team Leaders on a daily basis.
The House Manager will be available for after-hours Emergency On-Call events and hold responsibility for escalating critical incidents to Senior Managers in accordance with the Emergency On-Call protocols.
The House Manager will attend relevant training and development to support them in their role inclusive of individual supervision held with Management.
The House Manager may be required to oversee one or more homes, and to perform other duties from time to time that are consistent with their role and responsibility within the agency.
Operational Responsibilities:
The House Manager is the operational link between the home and Senior Managers
They will be accountable to ensure that:
· they provide direct support to Team Leaders to uphold the therapeutic interventions and daily schedules for each child and young person.
· predictable staff rosters are maintained for each house.
· daily responsibilities, expectations and reporting requirements are met.
· support is provided to Team Leaders in achieving day to day goals and objectives.
· Team Leaders adhere to administration requirements of all financial transactions
· WHS issues reports are resolved, and the environment is safe
· conduct matters are reported, addressed and escalated to Senior Managers
· young people have a voice and participate in decisions about their lives.
· Team Leaders' receive regular reflective supervision and engage in training and development.

Qualifications: Diploma in Youth Work/Community Services and/or other relevant tertiary qualification and experience is required
Reports to: Operations Manager

Pay: $52.00 – $115.00 per hour
