Capri by Fraser Brisbane is the first of the Capri brand in Australia heralding the arrival of a new kind of residences. Centrally located in Brisbane CBD, our sustainable hotel comprises of 239 rooms, an indoor swimming pool, 24 hour gymnasium and elegant meeting room facilities

Reporting to the Night Manager, the Assistant Night Manager's role is to maintain the professional, efficient and effective operation of the front desk during the night, whilst accurately completing the Night Audit process with an attention to detail including maintaining and delivering professional and high quality guest services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for completing the night auditing procedures with a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicates the relevant information to the Night Manager/ Front Office Manager in a professional manner.
  • The preparation and distribution of daily reports in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for delivering exceptional guest services during the night which includes handling all guest complaints immediately & courteously, smooth processing of guest check ins and outs, etc.
  • Making special note on all important nightly activities i.e. group and VIP arrivals including special requests and repeat guests.
  • Working closely with Maintenance and Housekeeping to assist in consistent upkeep of the property, improve guest services and foster cross departmental communication.
  • Report any suspicious persons, activities and/or hazardous conditions to the Night Manager and/ or Senior Management.
  • Ensuring compliance with the hotel standards of excellence, policies and procedures.
  • Any additional tasks deemed reasonable by the Night Manager/ Assistant Front Office Manager.

Your suitability and success in this role will be determined and enhanced by the following attributes:-

  • Previous Front Office experience in similar capacity in a Mid-scale or Luxury property, ideally suited for someone keen to step up in their role and take on more responsibility.
  • An energetic and passionate approach to guest service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent in Word, Excel, Powerpoint software as well as hotel operation software.
  • Exceptional personal presentation and grooming
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Knowledge of WH&S & hygiene
