About the role
Exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join the team at The Gap Day & Night Pharmacy in The Gap, QLD. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the Pharmacy's operations and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
What you'll be doing
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable and high quality customer service to patients
- Assisting the Retail Manager in inventory control, merchandising and point of sale data input.
- Assisting in ensuring the pharmacy environment is clean, organised and compliant with regulations
- Assisting the Retail Manager to participate in and encourage all staff to undergo training to enhance professional development
- Assisting in running social media posts for the pharmacy
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or equivalent role
- Posses S2/S3 Certificate in Community Pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff
- Proven ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Computer skills including operating POS systems

The Gap Day & Night Pharmacy is an owner-operated Independent Community Pharmacy that has been serving the residents of The Gap for over 30 years. We have a dedicated and friendly team and pride ourselves on providing personalised, high-quality healthcare services to our patients. We are open 7 days a week from 8.30am to 8.00pm.
