Capri by Fraser Brisbane is the first of the Capri brand in Australia heralding the arrival of a new kind of residences. Centrally located, Capri by Fraser Brisbane comprises of 239 rooms (Deluxe Suites, Studio Executives & one-bedroom Capri Suites). 

The Role

We are looking for a passionate Night (Duty) Manager.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Front Office Supervisor looking for the next step in their career or an established Duty Manager looking for their next new challenge whilst growing and developing their skills within the hotel industry. Our Front Office team is committed to providing a fast, friendly, courteous and efficient service, to create memorable experiences for our guests.

Some of your responsibilities will include –

  • Oversee hotel night operations of the front desk and to provide support to other operational areas as required.
  • Assist in the planning and overseeing all front of house and guest service processes from the arrival of guests to their departure in order to ensure the meeting (and exceeding) of guest needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of creative plans/programs that anticipate and meet guest needs and interests.
  • Ensure professional and effective lines of communication are maintained between Front Office and all other operating departments, with particular emphasis on Housekeeping and Maintenance.

About You

You will be guest focused and have previous experience in a similar role.  This role requires you to have the ability to lead and motivate your team whilst working closely with other departments to meet hotel needs. You will also have

At least 12 months experience in a Front Office supervisory position or similar role

  • Tertiary Hospitality Management qualifications – desirable
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • First Aid + CPR Certification
