Why This Role Matters

As our Compliance Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations across Australia and New Zealand meet the highest standards of regulatory integrity. You'll bring structure, insight, and collaboration to our compliance frameworks, helping us stay ahead of legislative requirements while driving continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
• Champion a disciplined and systematic approach to compliance management, controls, and governance.
• Lead operational support and oversight for policy reviews, audit findings, and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Level 2 functions, and Level 1 business units to embed compliance into everyday operations.
• Partner with senior leaders to ensure governance processes are robust, responsive, and future-ready.
What You'll Bring
• A strong grasp of compliance management principles and control frameworks.
• The ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business.
• The ability to translate complex legal and regulatory language into clear, actionable insights.
• Exceptional executive reporting and presentation skills.
• Analytical thinking to evaluate processes and identify risk and control gaps.
• A proactive mindset with a knack for creative problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• High attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Your Experience & Qualifications
• 5 years in Financial Services, ideally with exposure to insurance, risk, or compliance.
• 3 years in roles focused on risk, compliance, or corporate governance.
• Tertiary qualifications in Risk, Compliance, Business, Commerce, Finance, or Law.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, especially ISO 37301:2021.
