Administration Officer/Receptionist

Suncoast Cabs is seeking a motivated and reliable Administration Officer to join our team in Marcoola. This is a varied role supporting our Accounts Manager and Fleet Manager while providing excellent service to drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for drivers and customers, you'll handle reception duties, payments, and enquiries, while also assisting with financial administration and general office operations. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day customer interactions, including phones, mail, payments, and lost property enquiries.
- Support financial administration: cash collection, EFTPOS processing, reconciliations, and invoicing.
- Provide administrative support including record-keeping, data entry, uniform and stationery orders, filing, and contract preparation.
- Assist with driver agreements, online affiliations, and training paperwork.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, training, and team development initiatives.
Skills and Attributes
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when completing tasks and interacting with others, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a busy environment.
- Show a high level of competence in Microsoft Office and computerised financial systems, with fast and accurate typing and data entry skills.
- Apply strong numeracy and reconciliation skills with close attention to detail, supported by well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing, while building positive working relationships and resolving issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Manage time effectively, staying organised and meeting deadlines, while taking initiative to prioritise work and suggest improvements where appropriate.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality, and maintain a commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to a supportive, team-focused workplace through reliability, cooperation, and a willingness to assist others.
