Our client is within the engineering sector.

The Role

As the Receptionist and Administrator, you will welcome all employees and guests coming into the office. You will be responsible for answering phone calls, assisting office visitors, and supporting the wider office with general administrative tasks. You will use your communication and organisation skills to be a proactive and helpful team player, and come to work with a positive and friendly attitude.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, based fully on-site in the CBD office. This is a great opportunity for those who have worked in retail or hospitality, and looking to progress into a corporate role.

Duties

As the Receptionist/Administrator, your duties will include:

  • Answering phone calls and responding to emails.
  • Welcoming employees and visitors into the office.
  • Notifying employees of any visitors coming into the office for meetings.
  • Managing meeting rooms.
  • Tidying the office and kitchen areas when required.
  • Sorting mail and deliveries.
  • Assisting employees with ongoing projects and administrative work.
  • Assisting with events taking place within the office.

Your Profile

To be successful for this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role (retail, hospitality, customer support, office based work).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • A positive and keen attitude
