This Queensland based company, supported by a privately owned international investment group, has maintained a long-standing commitment to energy and resource sector development within Australia.  The Company is developing a project to offset a significant proportion of Australia's critical fuel imports and help shore up the Nation's fuel security for future generations. We are now seeking a uniquely talented individual to complement the existing leadership team.

In this broad and diverse role as Strategic Development Manager you will be primarily focussed on enhancing the base-case project design, as well as developing and integrating a range of innovative project improvements to position the project for future success. You will initiate and manage expert input to all stages of the project encompassing mine development, materials handling, process plant development and enhancement, project design, fabrication, infrastructure and construction planning, through to consideration of strategic options for downstream product sales, marketing and logistics.

Technically and commercially astute, you will be a highly accomplished civil, mining, process or project engineer with a minimum of around 15 years' experience in oil and gas, renewable energy, mining, minerals processing or related infrastructure development. You will understand all facets of the project development lifecycle, and will have an unparallelled opportunity to influence project development and execution strategies.
