Job Description:

This is a key role where you'll take the lead in developing, promoting and coordinating workforce development initiatives contributing to safe and fair workplaces across Queensland.

You will manage our Learning Management System and coordinate implementation of nationally recognised qualifications, ensuring staff are trained, competent and ready to meet regulatory challenges.

The Workforce Capability Unit designs and delivers learning and development initiatives supporting the Office's strategic direction.

This includes e-learning module development and training program facilitation and assessment linked to nationally recognised qualifications enhancing workforce knowledge and skills for safe and fair workplaces.

You will play a pivotal role in developing, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating innovative workforce development policies and programs achieving the Office's strategic priorities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, promote and coordinate workforce development initiatives contributing to safe and fair workplaces.
  • Manage the Learning Management System and coordinate implementation of nationally recognised qualifications.
  • Contribute to learning and development initiative design and delivery, including e-learning module development and training program facilitation and assessment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and evaluating workforce development initiatives.
  • Experience managing a Learning Management System and coordinating nationally recognised qualification implementation.
  • Ability to facilitate and assess training programs linked to nationally recognised qualifications.
  • Understanding of how workforce development contributes to safe and fair workplaces within Queensland's regulatory environment.
