About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House team member to join our vibrant team at Banks Cafe' in Port Macquarie, NSW. This is a part-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced and engaging hospitality environment, providing excellent customer service and support to our guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Taking orders and providing recommendations from our menu
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any queries or concerns
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the dining area
  • Assisting the kitchen team as needed to ensure the smooth running of the cafe
  • Providing exceptional customer service at all times

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
