Job Description:

As an NDIS Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of individuals with disabilities. You will provide personalized support, assistance with daily living activities, and companionship to help clients achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in community participation, social engagement, and skill development.
  • Develop and implement individual support plans based on clients' goals and needs.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or community activities.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of client progress and services provided.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or relevant field (preferred).
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities (desired).
  • Understanding of the NDIS and person-centered approaches.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
