We are seeking Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. Multiple positions are available across Melbourne suburbs and regional areas Each participant has unique needs, schedules, and preferences, so whether you're experienced or just starting your support work career, we may have the perfect match for you

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting with personal care, meals, and light housekeeping (participant-specific)
  • Providing companionship and engaging in social/community activities
  • Supporting clients with medication, daily routines, and personal goals
  • Communicating with families, coordinators, and healthcare teams
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
  • Keeping accurate and timely client records
  • Driver's license & reliable vehicle required

Participant A (EA) – Chadstone, VIC

  • Female worker only (AOD experience required)
  • Diagnosis: ID, PTSD, BPD
  • Supports: Community access & at-home care

Participant B (SB) – Frankston, VIC

  • Female worker
  • Diagnosis: Epilepsy, Depression, Anxiety
  • Needs: Seizure management, medication assistance, bubbly personality, conversational (music knowledge), reliable, older female preferred
  • Notes: Mental health experience essential

Participant C (SO) – Ellenbrook, WA

  • Female worker
  • Diagnosis: Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
  • Supports: Community access & personal care

Participant D (AS) – Cranbourne, VIC

  • Female worker preferred
  • Vacant: Fridays 10:00am – 3:00pm
  • Supports: Community access & at-home care

Participant E (HG) – Hoppers Crossing, VIC

  • Female worker
  • Diagnosis: Autism, Anxiety
  • Supports: Community access & at-home care

Participant F (RI) – Hoppers Crossing, VIC

  • Female worker
  • Diagnosis: Autism, Anxiety, Depression
  • Supports: Community access & at-home care

Participant G (ZM) – Chirnside Park, VIC

  • Male or female worker
  • Diagnosis: ASD, ADHD, Anxiety
  • Supports: Community access & at-home care

Participant H (CR) – Diggers Rest, VIC

  • Male worker
  • Required: Mon & Tues 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • Diagnosis: Dementia & Parkinson's Disease
  • Supports: Community access, personal care, dementia experience
  • Hoist experience required

Participant I (NL) – Wollert, VIC

  • Male worker
  • Required: Mon & Tues 2:30pm – 8:00pm
  • Diagnosis: Autism, intellectual disability, bowel prolapse syndrome, diabetes, isolation
  • Supports: Personal care, community access, dietary intolerance management (allergy guidelines)
  • Notes: Minimum 35hrs/week | LGBT friendly | 2 new hires needed

Participant J (RR) – Bendigo, VIC

  • Male or female worker
  • Flexible hours
  • Diagnosis: Autism

Participant K (EK) – Box Hill, VIC

  • Male worker
  • Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday PM
  • Diagnosis: Schizoaffective Disorder
  • Supports: Community access & at-home care

Participant L (SZ) – Frankston, VIC

  • Female support worker (Islamic SW preferred)
  • Participant attends mosque – worker to support spiritual activities
  • Diagnosis: Schizophrenia, Bipolar, CPTSD, Schizoaffective Disorder
  • Supports: Community access & at-home care

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience in aged or disability care, or a similar community services role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • First aid/ CPR certification or willingness to obtain one
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable car
  • Working with children's check
  • Existing Worker Screener check or Police Check
