About the role

As a Guest Service Agent at Mineral Springs Hotel, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This casual position is based in our beautiful Hepburn Springs, VIC location, where you will be the friendly face welcoming and assisting our valued guests throughout their stay.

What you'll be doing

  • Warmly greeting and checking in guests, ensuring a smooth arrival experience
  • Providing knowledgeable information and recommendations about the local area and hotel amenities
  • Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests
  • Efficiently processing payments and handling cash and card transactions
  • Updating reservation and guest records in our systems
  • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation in the lobby and front office
  • Assisting with luggage, parking and other guest services as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a front-facing customer service or hospitality role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities to handle multiple guest requests simultaneously
  • Competent in using computers and hotel booking/property management systems
  • This role is for Saturday evening shifts and flexibility to cover other shifts when required
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and contributing to our hotel's success
