About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team at the Mineral Springs Hotel in the charming town of Hepburn Springs, Victoria. As a casual Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages for our guests, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our hotel's restaurant and bar.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and serving a variety of coffee, tea and other drinks
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and a positive experience for all guests
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organised work area, adhering to all health and safety standards
  • Assisting with inventory management and restocking of coffee, tea and other bar supplies
  • Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to provide a seamless guest experience

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Barista or similar role in a cafe, restaurant or hotel setting
  • Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
  • This position includes morning weekend shifts as well as morning midweek shifts with flexibility required for evening shifts
  • Current Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one
