Are you a highly organised, people-focused professional with strong admin capabilities and a passion for the disability sector?
Central Coast Compassionate Care is looking for an experienced and motivated Administrator & Community Coordinator to join our team in a diverse and rewarding dual role that combines back-end administration with frontline community coordination.
This position begins at 20 hours per week, with a strong intention to grow into 30 hours per week based on service demand and the successful candidate's performance. It's ideal for someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys making a tangible impact on the lives of others.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and maintaining accurate daily rosters for support workers and participants
- Drafting NDIS service agreements, managing referrals, and assisting with participant onboarding
- Ensuring documentation is compliant and up-to-date, including care plans, OT reports, risk assessments, and health plans
- Liaising with participants, families, plan managers, support coordinators, LACs, and advocates to support successful plan implementation
- Handling general enquiries, feedback, complaints and incidents in a professional and empathetic manner
- Monitoring participant budgets and scheduling supports aligned with NDIS goals and funding capacity
- Processing staff payroll and timesheets in a timely and accurate manner
- Generating and submitting invoices in line with NDIS portal processes and service delivery records
- Supporting clinical and management teams with accurate record keeping and participant communications
- Stepping into a support worker role occasionally if required, to ensure continuity of care or during peak demand
- Participating in a rotating shared on-call weeknight roster for urgent matters
About You:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or Business Administration (or similar relevant experience)
- Experience in NDIS or Aged Care sectors, with strong administration and rostering background and reading NDIS Plans.
- Demonstrated experience in payroll and invoice processing
- Confident in managing participant management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Practical understanding of participant needs, including those with complex care requirements
- Flexible, proactive and calm under pressure – someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving
- Comfortable stepping into support shifts where needed, with a person-centred approach to care
Mandatory Requirements:
- Working with Children Check (current)
- Australian Driver's Licence (current)
- Experience in NDIS documentation, service coordination or similar roles highly regarded
- First Aid
