
Business Development Manager

Nebula Electrical is expanding our Construction and High Voltage Division, and we're seeking a confident, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help drive our next phase of growth.
You'll build trusted relationships with clients across the utilities, construction, and industrial sectors — identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and securing projects that make an impact.
This role suits someone who's personable, professional, and commercially sharp — a natural communicator who takes pride in delivering results with integrity and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and consultants.
- Manage tenders, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Work closely with operations and estimating teams to deliver accurate pricing.
- Represent Nebula Electricals at meetings, industry functions, and client events.
- Maintain CRM data and track pipeline performance.
What You'll Bring
- Proven success in business development or sales within the electrical, HV, or infrastructure sector.
- Minimum 3-5 years of business development or sales experience in the electrical, HV, or infrastructure sector.
- Confident communicator — equally comfortable on-site or in the boardroom.
- Technical understanding of electrical, HV, or construction systems (advantageous).
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and results-focused.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel for client engagement.
- Australian work rights are required for this position.
Good to Haves
- Background as an Electrician, Estimator, or Project Manager.
- Exposure to HV distribution, renewables, or industrial projects.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing a structured sales pipeline.
- Established client network across utilities or major contractors.
