Team Administrator

We are a dynamic firm of Chartered Accountants with internal divisions including Financial Planning, Risk Insurance, and Superannuation. With a team of approximately 35 staff, we are seeking an organised, detail-oriented, and flexible individual to join one of our Tax & Business Services Accounting Teams as their Team Administrator.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and diverse role where you will play a key part in facilitating the smooth operation of our team. You will act as the central point of contact for all team administration and client inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of team databases and ATO & ASIC lodgement programs
- Prepare and lodge ASIC documents using corporate registry software, and assist with queries
- Lodgement of income tax returns
- Extract and monitor Work In Progress (WIP) reports
- Co-ordinate team meetings, reports and workflow to assist in meeting deadlines
- Liaise with clients & ATO, including taking phone calls and preparing correspondence
- Be a point of contact for clients and build strong relationships
- Collation of reports, electronic filing, and scanning
- Client invoicing and accounts support
- Update internal procedures, records and templates
- Assist with reception duties as required
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in an administration role in public practice accounting
- Experience with ATO and ASIC work
- Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to show initiative
- Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
- Knowledge of MYOB AE software is a definite advantage
