Casual Event and Usher Staff

Casual positions available to join our Arts and Culture team

  • Provide front of house services within our cultural facilities venues

  • $35.54 per hour Band 3 (plus casual loading of 25%)

A little bit about the role

Event and Usher Staff are responsible for supporting and delivering high quality front of house services to clients, user groups and customers of the Boroondara Arts programs and events within the cultural facilities venues.

This position will also be responsible for~

  • Providing excellent customer service

  • The presentation of the venue's public spaces

  • Assisting the Front of House Supervisor to ensure the foyer and event rooms are clean and presentable prior to all performances; including ensuring adequate advertising materials are available to patrons

  • The set up and pack-down of equipment and furniture

  • Undertaking administrative duties relevant to the role including completion of Front of House show reports when required, incident reports and lost property reports.

A little bit about you

You will have demonstrated experience in event delivery and patron management. You will bring well- developed interpersonal and communication skills to the role along with an ability to work and achieve in a team environment.
