
Restaurant & Cellar Door Manager

As the Restaurant & Cellar Door Manager, you'll be the face of Dromana Estate welcoming guests, guiding them through wine tastings, and delivering exceptional food and beverage service. This hybrid role blends hospitality, storytelling, and sales in a scenic vineyard setting.
Salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on experience and qualifications
Restaurant
- Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve meals and drinks in a timely and courteous manner
- Ensure tables are clean and well-presented
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Respond to all emails and calls regarding enquiries for reservations
- Responsible for planning, creating and scheduling content across all social media platforms
- Responsible for stock take and providing stock orders that are required
Cellar Door
- Welcome guests and provide engaging wine tastings
- Respond to all emails and calls regarding wine tastings, as well as, wine tour group booking requests
- Handle bookings via the phone and update in booking system
- Share knowledge about our wines, vineyard, and winemaking process
- Process wine sales and manage point-of-sale systems
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the tasting area
- Assist with wine club sign-ups and customer inquiries
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality is required
- Knowledge of wine or willingness to learn
- Must hold a current RSA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a positive attitude
Job Type: Full-time
