About the role

Rochele Interiors is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in our Brisbane office. This part-time role (18 to 24hrs) with the option to transition into a fulltime role offers the opportunity to work with a small team of designers in creating stunning spaces for a high repeat clientele.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
  • Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts and solutions
  • Prepare detailed design plans, electronic mood boards, and 3D renderings to bring ideas to life
  • Source and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and decor items that align with the design vision
  • Facilitate colour consultations for our residential, commercial and strata clients
  • Capture the team and the projects via a company iPhone and post to our social platforms.
  • Telephone customers who have filled out online enquiry forms to explain our service and book an appointments

What we're looking for

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
  • Drivers License
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in a commercial or residential setting
  • Strong technical design skills and proficiency in Revit (preferred), Canva, Excel and Photoshop.
  • Passion for creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to confidently provide colour consulting to residential and commercial customers
  • Create mood boards independently for both residential and commercial clients
  • Confidently present to potential customers a design scheme and vision
  • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the right products and services are specified to potential clients
  • Competency in digital marketing related to the interior design industry. Not afraid to be behind or in front of the camera.
