We're seeking a highly results-driven Business Development Manager to join our expanding Melbourne team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a pure "hunter" role focused on actively identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory of the Inner Western Suburbs of Melbourne to build a robust sales pipeline. This is not an Account Management position.

WHAT YOU NEED TO ACHIEVE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE FIRST 12 MONTHS:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed your territory targets.
  • Prospect and Qualify: Proactively research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Develop Solutions: Accurately measure and estimate projects, crafting compelling, s solution-based proposals, quotes, and tender responses.

What Experience Is Required

  • Proven track record in B2B new business development and solution selling.
  • Experience in researching and actively targeting new customers.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems for sales data management.
  • Prior experience in the painting, facilities maintenance, building, or construction industry is highly regarded, but not essential.
