You will be a new business hunter focused on our Hospitality, Events. Retail and Industrial segments. Your mission: target mid-market & enterprise accounts, build your own pipeline, and convert cold prospects into long-term clients who rely on Sidekicker to solve staffing challenges at scale.
- Proactively target, research and engage new logos across Hospitality, Events, Retail and Industrial sectors via outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, industry events and referrals.
- Build & own a qualified pipeline — you're not just responding to leads, you're creating them.
- Run discovery meetings with C-suite and senior stakeholders, map pain points, manage relationships and drive deals through to close.
- Exceed quarterly and annual targets for new client acquisition and revenue.
- Leverage Sidekicker's technology, data and enablement assets to differentiate our offering, landed within your vertical.
- Collaborate with Marketing on) campaigns and event initiatives to crack target accounts faster.
- Maintain rigorous CRM discipline — every call, email, meeting, forecast must be logged and accurate.
- Provide real-time feedback to Marketing and Ops on what's working in the field: messaging, objections, competitor activity.
- Partner with Account Management teams and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients, setting the tone for long-term relationships and growth.
- Engage in regular pipeline reviews, planning sessions and hunting focus time — you own your territory, you own your outcomes.
- You consistently hit or exceed outbound new business targets.
- You sustain high levels of activity — calls, outreach, meetings aligned to KPI thresholds.
- You maintain a growing, qualified pipeline with accurate forecasting.
- You build strong relationships quickly and position Sidekicker as the preferred staffing partner for mid-market & enterprise across your verticals.
- You hand over new clients cleanly and efficiently to the Account Management team, setting up growth and retention.
- 5+ years in outbound B2B sales (preferrably SaaS, staffing/HRtech or workforce solutions) with demonstrable new business success.
- Proven experience selling into mid-market/enterprise accounts; experience in Hospitality, Events, Retail or Industrial verticals is highly valued.
- Expertise in managing full sales cycles end-to-end, from prospecting to close.
- Strong CRM experience (HubSpot preferred).
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC is an advantage).
- You are a natural hunter: you create opportunities, you don't wait for them.
- You open doors, build rapport rapidly, and run consultative, value-driven sales conversations.
- Your approach to outbound is methodical, disciplined and driven by data.
- You are a confident communicator — verbally, in writing, and in presentations to senior execs.
- You have a growth mindset: you adapt, iterate, and improve strategy based on metrics & feedback.
