About the Role

We're looking for a
Business Support Officer
to join our small, dynamic team in Cremorne.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated to learn, curious about innovation, and ready to take ownership of their work in a fast-moving environment.

You'll play a key role in keeping our team organised and our programs running smoothly while gaining hands-on experience across every part of the business.

You'll support data entry, reporting, and admin tasks, assist with events, help manage customer enquiries, and contribute to creative projects that share our story. You'll work closely with our Chief Operating Officer and program teams while gaining exposure to how a high-performing innovation organisation operates. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn. One day you might be checking invoices or updating databases; the next, you could be filming a TikTok with the team or setting up for an event.

What You'll Do

  • Enter and manage invoices and data in Xero
  • Support program teams with admin, reports, and customer queries
  • Assist with office coordination and supplier communications
  • Help with event logistics and on-day support
  • Contribute to social media and team content (we love creativity)
  • Be a valued member of a collaborative and purpose-driven team

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with Xero, Google Workspace, or CRM tools
  • Previous admin or customer service experience
  • Bachelor degree in Business or a related field
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, and an interest in using them to work smarter and support innovation
