Beautopia seeks an experienced Hands on Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor to help manage and work in warehouse operations in Lane Cove West

The business supplies Hair Products operating through a network of trade stores as well as an online business.

Primarily the role involves:

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
  • Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy
  • Communicate job expectations and coach warehouse teams
  • Determine rostering levels and assign workload
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
  • Ensuring that high standards of health and safety, security in the work environment are maintained.
  • Be a hands on part of the team with regard to picking/packing orders and all aspects of the daily warehousing activities
  • Coaching, mentoring and guiding a small team of warehouse personnel.

We are looking for a hands on warehouse Team Leader to ensure efficient warehouse operations and goods storage.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a warehouse operator and Team Leader
  • Proven work experience as a pick packer
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
  • Hands-on participation and commitment to getting the job done
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Current Forklift Licence

As the warehouse works with  a small team of 6 staff, it is vital that this role assumes hands on duties as well as overall supervision, coaching, and mentoring warehouse personnel. Based in Lane Cove West
